War of 1812 Legacy Conference

Following on from the Ross Conference in 2013, this two day conference will look at the the legacy of the War of 1812 between American and Britain. With speakers from across the Atlantic divide, looking at the many aspects including why this war matters in 2015. Rostrevor's own Robert Ross played a big role within the war and is remembered by the 100 foot monument along the County Down coastline, and thus is the setting for these interesting talks and discussions.
