Tour Operators Delight in Unforgettable Experience in Mourne Gullion Strangford UGGp
The destination recently hosted a group of 23 enthusiastic Incoming Tour Operator Association members that included Destination Management Companies, Tour Operators and Professional Conference Organisers on an adventure through the picturesque landscapes of the Mourne Mountains, Ring of Gullion and Strangford Lough.
This immersive familiarisation trip featured a unique blend of e-biking, whiskey tasting, and traditional Irish dancing, providing an unforgettable taste of the rich culture and breathtaking scenery that Mourne Gullion Strangford, Ireland’s newest designated geopark, has to offer.
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Councillor Valerie Harte said, “It was my pleasure to extend a heartfelt welcome to each of these esteemed Incoming Tour Operator Association members who have visited this beautiful district. The Incoming Tour Operators Association is the representative association of Ireland’s premier inbound tour operators, Destination Management Companies, handling agents and Professional Conference Organisers. They design and package creative programmes and itineraries for escorted tour groups, individual holidaymakers and business tourists including incentive, corporate meetings and conferences.
