Survey: Your Age, Your Community, Your Opinion

Three local councils - Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, Ards and North Down Borough Council and Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council - have joined forces to ask over 50s about the positives and challenges of growing older.

Each council aims to be ‘Age Friendly’ and ‘Your Age, Your Community, Your Opinion’ will help them better understand life in local communities for residents over 50.  If you are in this age bracket, they invite you to share your experiences and your concerns to help identify where public services can be improved to better meet your needs.

‘Your Age, Your Community, Your Opinion’ is a great opportunity for you to help improve services in your area.  You can get involved by completing a survey, available online via each council’s Facebook Page, or phone 0796 230 0361 for assisted completion.  You can also get involved by joining the discussion in an online workshop – check the council Facebook page where you live and register for a workshop or phone 0796 230 0361 for assistance.
