Start Date for New Parking Arrangements at 4 Main Parks Extended

The start date of the new parking arrangements at Newry, Mourne and Down District Council’s four main parks — Slieve Gullion Forest Park, Kilbroney Park, Castlewellan Forest Park and Delamont Country Park ­— has been extended to Monday 22 April 2024. This is to allow more time to collect parking permits.

Free entry into one park of choice with a ‘single-park permit’ is available to each registered household address within the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area.

Permits will be available from Monday 4 March 2024 at the car park offices of all four parks (9am to 5pm). Residents must either produce a valid driving licence OR photographic ID and a document that shows your current address.
