Special Circumstances

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council provides assisted collections for householders who for medical reasons have difficulty in putting their bins out for collection. This service is subject to regular review.

In exceptional circumstances, householders can request additional waste capacity. For this to occur the household must have six or more residents or a member of the household with a medical condition which generates extra waste. These services are subject to regular review.
