Sparkle this Christmas at the new Down Leisure Centre

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is encouraging residents and visitors to get into the Christmas spirit at the new Down Leisure Centre.

With its luxury facilities there is something for everyone wanting to take time out from the frenzy of Christmas preparations. And for those looking for a Christmas present with a difference, either for themselves or as a gift, there are membership packages available to suit all tastes and budgets.

The newly opened Leisure Centre boasts an 85 station Wellness Technogym with cutting edge technology, Vitality Health Suite, spin studio, four-court sports hall and six-lane swimming pool and learner pool with moveable floor, which can be adjusted for different ages and abilities.

Visitors to the centre can unwind in the steam room and sauna after working out in the state-of-the-art Wellness gym, relax on the heated stonebed lounger and enjoy the views overlooking the historic town of Downpatrick.

A number of membership packages are available to suit everyone and range from £15 to £29.95 per month — these can incorporate swim, health suite, classes, or access to the gym.
