Rumour Has It…Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band Close To Sell Out
As part of Downpatrick’s inaugural DownTime Festival, a new and exciting festival of racing, culture and music taking place in the town from 14 to 17 June, Down Arts Centre is delighted to welcome Rumours Retold on Friday 15 June.
It’s been 40 years – and over 45 million sales – since Fleetwood Mac released ‘Rumours’, still their biggest selling album, and the soundtrack to a turbulent time in the band’s personal drama.
Following their successful gig last autumn, Rumours Retold will re-unite for an exclusive live performance to bring the iconic album to life. This is a unique opportunity to hear the ‘Rumours’ album in its entirety, including some new interpretations and exclusive arrangements of other great Fleetwood Mac hits.
The cast of musicians includes Becky Baxter, Brigid O’Neill, Anthony Toner, Stevie Moore, Matty Rea, Suzy Coyle, Ellen Weir, Jenna Frazier, Stef Campbell and Cormac Neeson to name but a few—local legends in their own right, as well as superb performance of the Fleetwood Mac canon.
Rumours Retold will be accompanied by O.M.G. house band featuring Davy Bates, Ross Montgomery, Drew Skinner and Paul McMordie. Local duo Moss Bound will also play their distinctive music on the night.
Tickets are selling fast, so don’t miss out; call Box Office at Down Arts Centre, 028 4461 0747 or go online for more information, www.downartscentre.com
