Residents Encouraged to Get Active and #BeActive in 2023!
A new campaign which aims to get NMD residents active in 2023 will be officially launched by the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council on Friday 30 December.
The new #BeActive campaign aims to motivate people to undertake more activity in their day-to-day lives. It is based around the huge variety of leisure facilities, membership options, flexible payment options that are available to people across the district.
The campaign includes various membership offers for new sign-ups and existing members with ‘Bolt On’ packages offered which aims to encourage residents to bring a family member or friend along to the gym for £15/month for unlimited access to Ballymote Sports and Wellbeing Centre and Newcastle Centre.
The NMD Be Active Platinum All Inclusive Member for just £29.95/month which provides access to indoor swimming pools, gyms, health suites and access to Council led fitness classes in Newry, Kilkeel or Down Leisure Centres. Another great benefit of this membership is that
you can also take your kids swimming for £1.50/child.
Finally, the NMD Be Active Gold Member is for only £16.43/month for unlimited access to Ballymote Sports and Wellbeing Centre and Newcastle Centre. So there is plenty on options to encourage residents to get active and try something new on their doorstep.
