Public Notice-SCAM Text Messages Seeking Payments for Unpaid Parking Fines

We have been advised of text messages being sent to residents requesting payment for unpaid parking fines that includes a link to our website. 

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and our Enforcement Contractor (Marston Holdings Ltd) do not use text messaging to contact residents in relation to unpaid parking fines.
   
If you have received a text message you should report it directly to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
