PUBLIC NOTICE: Free Pay & Display Saturday Parking In December

We have agreed to offer free parking in Council owned off-street pay-and-display car parks in Newry City, Downpatrick and Ballynahinch on the following three Saturdays in the run-up to Christmas:

• Saturday 9 December 2023

• Saturday 16 December 2023

• Saturday 23 December 2023

This initiative is designed to encourage people within the district to shop locally and support local businesses.

Whilst charges will be suspended on these dates, enforcement action will continue as normal to ensure compliance with other parking contraventions, so please remember to park responsibly.
