Public Consultation on Proposals for Built and Natural Heritage, Castlewellan Forest Park

At a recent public consultation on Tuesday 20 March 2018, proposals were outlined for the refurbishment and restoration of the natural and built heritage in Castlewellan Forest Park.

The event was organised by the Newry, Mourne and Down Council Project Task and Finish Board for Castlewellan Forest Park and local stakeholders were asked to give their feedback about biodiversity, traffic hazards, pedestrianising the park and the use of the buildings in the Grange and Bothy Yard.
