Priority 6 of the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme

Opportunities to apply for capital funding for community and business projects in Rural Areas in the Newry, Mourne and Down Disrict Council area will shortly be available from the Rural Development Programme.

A series of mandatory workshops have been organised across the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area for potential applicants to the Mourne, Gullion and Lecale Rural Development Partnership. Please refer to the advert for venues and times of workshops.

The workshops will focus on presenting details on the programme and, where required, will provide the opportunity of one to one advice for potential applicants. The format of the workshops will be a general overview of the programme and then theme specific presentations. Officers will be available to provide support and guidance to applicants.

This is an important opportunity for all Newry, Mourne and Down based community groups and businesses. Your group or business MUST attend one of the workshops to be considered for funding from the Rural Development Programme.
