Audit Committee Minutes

The Audit Committee provides an independent and high quality focus on the audit, assurance and reporting arrangements that underpin the good governance and financial standards of the Council.

The purpose of the Committee is to provide independent assurance to those charged with the governance of the risk managment framework and the internal controls of the Council. It also oversees financial reporting and annual governance processes, internal and external audit, and helps ensure that efficient and effective assurance arrangements are in place.
