Open Day at Crossmaglen Community Centre
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is keen to welcome everyone to the Open Day at Crossmaglen Community Centre, on Saturday 2 February 2019 from 11am–2pm.
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairman, Councillor Mark Murnin said, “This is a great opportunity for people to call in and view the Centre, find out more details about the range of activities that take place and how you can make the best use of this wonderful community facility.”
The event will be a fun filled day with lots of free activities to keep the whole family entertained, including face painting, balloon modeling, bouncy castle and a caricature artist. Inside the Centre, there will be storytelling in the library and visitors will also be able to see the Cosy Corner Playgroup where playgroup staff will be able to answer any questions.
Crossmaglen Community Centre is located within the Cardinal O’Fiaich Square in Crossmaglen. The Centre was newly refurbished in 2014 and comprises a main hall with a stage and capacity for 250 people. Meeting rooms and training rooms are also available to hire and there is car parking directly adjacent to the building.
