NMD Labour Market Partnership Delivers Business Masterclasses
Almost 100 businesses across Newry, Mourne and Down recently availed of two free business masterclasses, one in Newry and one in Downpatrick. The Masterclasses were delivered by Newry, Mourne and Down Labour Market Partnership (LMP).
Labour Market Partnerships are funded by the Department for Communities and create targeted employment action plans for council areas, allowing for collaboration at local and regional level to support people towards and into work.
The full house of attendees were provided with practical tips and advice to support business growth in areas including brand awareness, visual merchandising, digital marketing, upselling, online selling, customer service and employment retention.
In Newry guests heard from Clare Vallely from Kukoon, in conversation with journalist Gary McDonald while in Downpatrick, Gary was in conversation with Pete Boyle from Argento.
Both events had presentations from Siobhan Walsh, Retail Consultant, Maeve Finnegan, Mitso Marketing and Bronagh Lennon, HR Consultant. There was a panel session with all speakers hosted by Gary McDonald and the events were organised by King Communication.
