Newry Town Hall Welcomes The History of the Peace (accordin’ to my Ma)
The brilliant sequel to The History of the Troubles (accordin’ to my Da), is on tour and comes to Newry Town Hall on Saturday 25 August at 7.30pm.
Written by Martin Lynch and Grimes & McKee, and directed by Dan Gordon, the show tells a peaceful tale of street protests, riots, guns, bombings, the RHI Scandal, the latest Stormont collapse and even more riots!
The sequel also sees the return of the legendary ‘Fireball’, joined by a host of hilarious new characters including; Pineapple ‘the paramilitary’, Stacey, ‘the Flegs woman’, Roberto ‘the Flute band leader’ and many more.
As expected from Lynch, Grimes & McKee, the show will be especially updated to raise a laugh out of the very latest ‘peaceful events in Norn Iron’ and is set to be another classic hit. The show contains adult references and strong language; therefore it is recommended for persons over sixteen years of age.
