Newry, Mourne and Down Fairtrade Steering Group Meets.
The inaugural Fairtrade Steering Group for Newry, Mourne and Down District Council met at Council Offices recently. The group will work over the coming months to achieve Fairtrade status for the district.
Once achieved the group will continue to meet to raise awareness of Fairtrade issues, promote Fairtrade Fortnight and encourage even more businesses, schools, churches and organisations to sell or use products with the Fairtrade Mark.
