Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Opens Books of Condolence For The Many Recent Deaths In Gaza
Books of Condolence have been opened for the recent deaths in Gaza earlier this week.
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Councillor Roisin Mulgrew officially opened the Books of Condolence and said, "The opening of these Books of Condolence will allow the people of Newry, Mourne and Down to show their solidarity and send condolences to the people in Gaza. I offer my sympathies to the families and friends of all those who have lost their lives.”
Books of Condolence will be available for signing for two weeks and are located at the Council’s Newry Office, Monaghan Row and Downpatrick Office, Downshire Civic Centre, Ardglass Road.
Books of Condolence will also be available in Newry Town Hall, Warrenpoint Town Hall, Crossmaglen Community Centre, Newcastle Centre, Down Arts Centre, Downpatrick, Ballynahinch Market House The books will be available for signing during normal opening hours.
