Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Opens Books of Condolence For Mr Seamus Mallon.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Deputy Chairperson, Terry Andrews opened a Book of Condolence on behalf of the Chairperson Cllr Casey, at 1pm on Saturday 25 January 2020 in Newry Leisure Centre. This will offer people the opportunity to convey their condolences to the family and friends of the late Mr Seamus Mallon.

In recognition of the contribution and esteem that Mr Seamus Mallon was held in, the Council will be opening a book of condolence in the following Council premises from Monday 27 January 2020. The books are available for signing Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm for a period of two weeks at the following locations:

Crotlieve – Warrenpoint Town Hall
Downpatrick – Down Arts Centre and Downshire Civic Centre
Newry – District Council Offices, Newry and Newry Town Hall
Rowallane – Ballynahinch Market House
Slieve Gullion – Crossmaglen Community Centre
The Mournes – Newcastle Centre 

The Books will close for signatures on Monday 10 February 2020.
