Newcastle is Alive with the Sounds of Music this Summer

Newcastle will be thrilling to the sounds of music as the Newcastle Glees Musical Society kicks off its summer season on Saturday 14 July.

An award winning, long established society with a wealth of talent and experience, Newcastle Glees Musical Society delights in performing songs from the very best of musical theatre and beyond. ‘Summer Song’ will feature fabulous music and songs such as ‘9 to 5’, ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Les Miserables as well as a selection from the Musical Society’s recent smash hit musical, ‘Sister Act’.

This joyous evening of entertainment will take place in Newcastle Community Cinema, starting at 8pm with doors open from 7pm and tickets priced at £12 or £10 for concessions.

Also taking place at the Community Cinema as part of the Newcastle Summer Season will be Summer Nights. These musical evenings offer a variety of live theatre events and music performances every Friday and Saturday night throughout July and August.
