Mountain Biking Trails

Castlewellan Forest Park offers 27.5 km of Green, Blue, and Red trails, including two Black options for advanced riders. There is no charge for individuals using the trails. However, groups planning to hold events, or provide coaching or guided rides, must apply for approval. A fee will apply for group use. Usual vehicle access charges for the Forest Park still apply.

(See the section ‘How to Apply to Hold an Event in Castlewellan Forest Park’ for details.)
