Love Your Landscape Day at Ardglass

Show your love for the Lecale coast on ‘Love your Landscape’ day on Thursday 12 October by helping Strangford Lough and Lecale Partnership (SLLP) to clean the coast at Ardglass, County Down.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Chairperson Councillor Roisin Mulgrew said, “Getting involved helps the environment, is great fun and is a chance to learn more about our beautiful coast with coastal experts and a great team of volunteers. Reducing coastal litter not only improves the visual aesthetics but also benefits  the local communities, the volunteers who take part, the tourists who visit and, of course, the wildlife.”

The coast clean-up will start at 10am Thursday 12 October 2017 on the Strangford Road, Ardglass, and volunteers are reminded to wear appropriate weather clothing and footwear. Litter pickers and gloves will be provided by the Council.
