Irish Language Sessions at Footsteps in the Forest

Déanaigí réidh d’ócáid mhór Oíche Shamhna i mbliana ag Páirc Foraoise Shliabh gCuillinn! Is deis iontach í seo le tírdhreach álainn draíochtúil na páirce a fheiceáil agus tú ag baint sult as féile na Samhna. 
 
Beidh an imeacht ar siúl ón Chéadaoin 25 Deireadh Fómhair go dtí Dé Luain 30 Deireadh Fómhair 2023, agus tá muid ag dúil leis an chraic – agus b’fhéidir le bob a dhéanamh ort!
 
Tá clú agus cáil ar Pháirc Foraoise Shliabh gCuillinn mar gheall ar an áilleacht nádúrtha, ach le linn na Samhna, glacann sí saol nua chuici féin. Claochlaíonn tírdhreach na páirce ina tír mhistéireach agus dhiamhair. Cruthaíonn foraoisí, lochanna agus sléibhte galánta na páirce atmaisféar breá do spraoi na hOíche Shamhna.
 
Rachaidh cuairteoirí ar chonair féintreoraithe faoi na soilse a thabharfaidh ar thuras iad ó thúsré na Samhna go dtí Oíche Shamhna an lae inniu. Beidh an imeacht ar siúl sa tráthnóna leis an tsult agus an tsamhlaíocht a spreagadh i measc gach aoisghrúpa.
 
Tosóidh an imeacht gach tráthnóna ag 5.00pm. Beidh naoi mbabhta féintreoraithe ar siúl gach leathuair an chloig go dtí an seó deiridh ag 9.00pm. Beidh turas inrochtana ar siúl ag 5.00pm agus 5.30pm gach lá le solas níos gile agus fuaim cheoil níos ísle. Beidh seisiúin Ghaeilge ar siúl Déardaoin 26 Deireadh Fómhair ag 6.00in, 6.30in agus 7.00in.

Get ready for a spooktacular Halloween event this year at Slieve Gullion Forest Park! This is the perfect opportunity to experience the park's hauntingly beautiful landscape while enjoying some festive Halloween fun.
 
The event is set to take place from Wednesday 25 to Monday 30 October 2023, and we can't wait to scare up some fun with you!
 
Slieve Gullion Forest Park is known for its natural beauty, but during Samhain, it takes on a whole new dimension. The park's landscape transforms into a mysterious and eerie wonderland, perfect for a Halloween celebration. The park's lush forests, lakes, and mountains create the perfect backdrop for some Halloween fun.
 
Visitors will go along a self-guided, illuminated trail that will take them on the journey from the origins of Samhain to modern day Halloween. To bring a mystical quality to the experience, the event will be held in the evening enthralling and capturing the imaginations of all ages.
 
The event will start each evening at 5pm with nine self-guided trails that will run every half hour until the last show at 9pm. An accessible tour will take place at 5pm and 5.30pm each day with a brighter setting and lower music. Irish language sessions will take place on Thursday 26 October at 6pm, 6.30pm and 7pm.
 
Footsteps in the Forest is a free event, but booking is essential.
