Environmental Education
Help and assistance is available, on request, for schools and groups that wish to raise awareness of environmental issues.
Environmental Education Officers provide a range of talks and encourage local schools to participate in the Eco Schools Programme.
Annual campaigns and activities include:
- Annual Schools’ Environmental Calendar
- Big Spring Clean
- Eco Schools Teachers’ Information Events
- Environmental Youth Speak
- Fairtrade and Fairtrade Fortnight
Free School Talks
Environmental talks for schools and groups can be booked on request. Topics include:
- Brown Bin / Blue Bin Recycling
- Composting
- Eco Schools
- Fairtrade
- Litter
- Waste / Recycling / Reduce Reuse Recycle.
