Down Arts Centre Presents Timeless Classic, The Time Machine
Dyad Productions makes a welcome return to Down Arts Centre with its new and radical interpretation of the HG Wells classic, ‘The Time Machine’ on Saturday 10 February.
From the creators of Jane Eyre: An Autobiography, Dalloway, The Unremarkable Death of Marilyn Monroe, Christmas Gothic, I, Elizabeth, Female Gothic and Austen’s Women; The Time Machine is a contemporary and thought provoking adaption of a timeless classic.
In this captivating and clever play, a Victorian time traveller transcends across the ages from 1900 to our own far future – from the fall of man to the end of the world – discovering the fate of our endeavours and uncovering our darkest fears. Can we change the future? Or has the end already begun?
Dyad Productions creates, produces and tours classic theatre with an innovative and contemporary emphasis. Written and directed by Elton Townend Jones, produced by Rebecca Vaughan and performed by Stephen Cunningham, The Time Machine is a philosophical journey, a nightmare adventure, a cautionary tale – this is the story of us all.
This gripping production has received five star reviews and is a must see this spring at Down Arts Centre. Get your tickets now by calling Box Office on 028 4461 0747, priced at £12 and £10 for concessions. The performance starts at 8pm with bar facilities from 7pm.
