Culture Night at Newry and Mourne Museum, 2015
As part of the events and activities organised for Culture Night, Newry and Mourne Museum is delighted to have as our special guest for the evening internationally renowned storyteller Niall de Búrca.
Niall is one the top traditional storytellers with a unique style that turns an ancient art form on its head and drives into the 21st century. Combining powerful stage presence and delivery, he has a mighty range of stories and an ability to reach all ages.
There will be two performances, one starting at 6.30pm and the other at 7.45pm
Also, the Museum galleries will be open to the public from 6pm - 8pm so you can see the history and culture of the region on display, including the two temporary exhibitions, ‘All politics is local’ and ‘The world has become smaller, transport through the ages in Newry and Mourne’.
So come along to the Museum Friday 18th September, all free of charge.
