Council Launches New Online Bin Calendar For 2023/24

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council has released its updated bin calendar schedule for 2023/24 online.

The calendar provides detailed information about waste collection days for Blue, Brown and Black bins as well as additional guidelines on Public Holiday Collections. Traditionally, the Council has delivered printed copies of the bin calendar to residents' homes. However, this year, the Council is moving towards a more sustainable approach.

The Council appreciates that some residents may prefer to have a physical copy of the bin calendar. To accommodate their needs, there are alternative options:

Email Request: Residents can request a copy of the bin calendar to be emailed to them by contacting our dedicated customer service team at recycling@nmandd.org or 0330 137 4047.

Postal Delivery: For those who require a printed copy, residents can request the bin calendar to be sent to their address via mail. Again, please contact our customer service team to make the necessary arrangements.

Self-Printing: Alternatively, residents can visit our website and choose to print a copy of the bin calendar for their reference at home.

By transitioning to digital distribution of the bin calendar, we are reducing paper waste and while we encourage this more sustainable approach, we also appreciate that some residents will require alternative arrangements.”
