I look forward to seeing Jessica and Kara’s colourful artwork when they appear on the billboards in Newry City and Downpatrick in 2023. These designs will not only be eye catching but will also convey important environmental messages on anti-littering and a strong ‘wake-up’ call that urgent environmental action is needed to protect our environment”.
As part of the main prize, the overall winner’s two striking environmental designs will be featured on billboards displayed in Newry City and Downpatrick in 2023. Jessica and Kara were also presented with a framed copy of their poster to keep as a memento for winning the competition. Each of the runners up also received a framed copy of their poster and a voucher to the value of £50.
