Chairman Opens Book of Condolence in Memory of Giselle and Allison Marimon-Herrera

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairman, Councillor Mark Murnin opened a Book of Condolence at the Council Offices, Monaghan Row, Newry on the passing of Giselle and Allison Marimon-Herrera who lost their lives in tragic, circumstances while living in Newry.

Councillor Murnin said, “I wish to extend my sincere condolences to the Marimon-Herrera family on their great loss in such tragic, circumstances.  My thoughts and prayers are with them as they mourn a much loved daughter, sister and grand-daughter”.

Books of Condolence are available for signing Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, at the following Council buildings:

• Downpatrick – Down Arts Centre and Downshire Civic Centre
• Newry – District Council Offices, Newry
• Rowallane – Ballynahinch Market House
• Slieve Gullion – Crossmaglen Community Centre
• The Mournes – Newcastle Centre
