Call for Social Partners to the Newry, Mourne and Down PEACE IV Partnership
The PEACE IV Programme is a unique initiative of the European Union which has been designed to support peace and reconcilliation in the Boarder Region of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The PEACE IV Programme will build upon the experience of previous programmes by tackling the remaining challenges that exist in building positive relations and developing shared spaces.
The Partnership will deliver the action the Action Plan which addresses three specific objectives: Children and Young People, Shared Spaces and Services and Building Positive Relations.
Social Partners, amoung other criteria, must demonstrate an understanding of the sectarian and racism issues facing the Council area.
