Book of Condolence for Pope Francis

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Councillor Pete Byrne has opened an Online Book of Condolence for the residents of Newry, Mourne and Down to extend their sympathies to Pope Francis at this time. 

The Book of Condolence will be available online until Wednesday 7 May 2025.  

All messages in the online book will be recorded by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and sent directly to the Vatican in Rome. 

By signing the Book of Condolence below you are expressing your sympathy to Pope Francis at this time.
