Big Lottery Funding Information Sessions
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council’s District Electoral Area (DEA) Fora, in association with the Big Lottery Fund, are delighted to announce that they will be hosting two free funding information sessions in Downpatrick and Newry.
The private one to one sessions will give community groups who are considering making a funding application advice on what financial help is available to them, how to complete an application and what type of projects are suitable. Each thirty minute session will be led by experienced and knowledgeable Big Lottery Officials.
There are three strands of funding available including ‘Awards For All’, ‘Empowering Young People’ and ‘People and Communities’.
Information sessions will be held in Downpatrick on Wednesday 5 October from 2pm to 8pm in the Downshire Civic Centre. A second session will then be held in Newry on Wednesday 12 October 2016 from 2pm to 8pm in Newry Town Hall.
