Get Active in the New Year with a range of flexible membership packages at Council leisure facilities.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council’s #NMDBeActive campaign officially launched on Friday 29 December is encouraging residents to fit more activity into their day-to-day lives, based around its variety of leisure facilities, membership packages and flexible payment options.

Whether you want to start to move more, get back to the gym, or you’re a seasoned member wanting to upgrade, you will be supported with the latest equipment in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Become a Platinum All Inclusive Member for £32.70 a month, with access to indoor swimming pools, gyms, health suites and Council led fitness classes in Newry, Kilkeel and Down Leisure Centres. Platinum members can also take their kids swimming for just £1.60 a child.

Be an NMD Be Active Gold Member from £17.90 a month for unlimited access to either Ballymote Sports and Wellbeing Centre or the Newcastle Centre.

Or if you’re already a gym member consider the ‘Bolt On’ package, which allows you to add a member of your household for £16.40 a month at Newry, Down and Kilkeel Leisure Centres.
