The Summer Nights at Newcastle Summer Season keeps on entertaining audiences with more live theatre and music hitting the stage of the Newcastle Community Cinema in August.
The smash hit band ‘Cash Returns’ make their way back to the stage of the Newcastle Community Cinema on Saturday 3 August at 8pm (bar facilities from 7pm), this time with an exciting new show to mark the 50th anniversary of Johnny Cash’s legendary San Quentin album.
The award-winning JP Mac as the ‘Man In Black’ along with June Carter and an electric live band will bring the audiences back to 1969 when Cash blew away the inmates of San Quentin penitentiary and the rest of the world with one of the most famous and iconic live musical performances in front of TV cameras.
Experience for yourself the authentic sound they heard that special evening and listen to Cash classics, ’A Boy Named Sue’, ‘Folsom Prison Blues’, ‘I Walk The Line’, ‘San Quentin’ and a whole lot more-a must see for all Cash and Carter fans! Tickets priced £17/£15 concession.
If you fancy a night out to witness one of the greatest-ever Broadway comedies, then come along to see ‘Plaza Suite’ at the Newcastle Community Cinema on Friday 2 August at 8pm (with bar facilities from 7pm).
