Applications for Street Trading in Newry on St. Patrick's Day
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is inviting applications for street trading in Hill Street, Newry on St Patrick’s Day, Thursday 17 March 2022.
Applications for a Temporary Street Trading License will only be accepted from Tuesday 1 February 2022 at 9am. The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Friday 11 February 2022 at 4pm. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Street Trading Licences will be granted based upon the ‘criteria for the award of street trading licences’. Criteria is detailed here.
Please note there are a limited number of trading spaces available.
The application fee is non-refundable regardless of whether your application for a Temporary Street Trading License is successful or not.

Completed Application Forms
The completed application form and relevant documentation should be returned to the address below with a cheque or postal order for the appropriate application fee, to be made payable to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.
