Acclaimed Production Comes to Newcastle
On Friday 12 and Saturday 13 August will see the Newcastle Summer Season in full flow with the acclaimed Southbank Players performing ‘Relative Values’ by Noel Coward at the Newcastle Community Cinema.
‘Relative Values’ see Hollywood arrive in a sleepy English town. Join Southbank Players for a vivid and vigorous farce featuring an English lord returning to his family home with his glamorous film star in tow. His mother is underwhelmed, her maid is distraught and girl-guides are running loose on the lawn. There may be more awaiting the Hollywood star than the cocktails and country gardens that she had expected.

Prepare to be amazed on Saturday afternoon by an entertaining circus performance from the ‘Great Mefiesto’ who will be stunning crowds with tricks of balance, feats of equilibristic manipulation and will make the crowds marvel with his daring attempt of physical dexterity.
The show includes a 6 foot unicycle, fire eating and juggling, audience participation, origami and many more spectacles that are sure to be a hit with the kids. Shows take place at 1pm and 2.30pm outside the Newcastle Centre
The weekend will be rounded off on Sunday 14 with the ‘Ballylone Flute Band’ performing at the Newcastle Centre from 3pm to 5pm. This is surely a weekend in Newcastle you do not want to miss!
