‘A Christmas Carol’ Comes to Sean Hollywood Arts Centre

Christmas is coming to Sean Hollywood Arts Centre with a performance of one of the best loved holiday classics, ‘A Christmas Carol’ on Tuesday 17 December 2019.

The one-man show, starring Neil McGarry, directed by Ross MacDonald and created by The Bay Colony Shakespeare Company, is a tour-de-force, using Dickens’ original text to create a complete experience for the audience.

Using Dickens’ words, Neil has made his portrayal of the well-known characters, weaving humour and pathos throughout to create a memorable experience for all.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Councillor Charlie Casey said, “This performance of ‘A Christmas Carol’ is a real treat for the whole family. This will be Neil McGarry’s first time performing at Sean Hollywood Arts Centre but I hope it will not be his last time here.

“I know that Neil has performed this show across the United States and Europe and has had great success with audiences and critics alike. I am sure retelling of this classic story will be warmly received here in Newry.”
